1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how PuriFi LLC (“PuriFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on www.purifi.io. This policy is part of our commitment to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in our data practices.

By using our website or services, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree to our use of cookies, you can manage your preferences as described in the “Managing Cookies” section below.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, making your online experience easier and more personalized.

Types of Storage Technologies

  • HTTP Cookies: Traditional cookies stored in your browser
  • Local Storage: Larger storage capacity for website data
  • Session Storage: Temporary storage cleared when you close your browser
  • Flash Cookies: Cookies stored by Adobe Flash plugin
  • Web Beacons: Invisible tracking pixels in emails and web pages

3. How We Use Cookies

Because PuriFi is a privacy product, we use cookies sparingly and minimize tracking by design. We currently use cookies for:

  • Site access: Remembering that you have signed in to our pre-launch preview site
  • Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated insight into how visitors find and use www.purifi.io

4. Types of Cookies

Essential Cookies

Required for the website to function properly

Examples:

  • Site access authentication
  • Security tokens

Retention Period:

Session or up to 30 days

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how visitors interact with our website

Examples:

  • Anonymous page-view tracking via Vercel Analytics
  • Google Analytics (_ga)

Retention Period:

Up to 24 months

Advertising Cookies

Measure whether our pre-launch ads lead to signups and reservations — set only on the marketing funnel pages, never in the web app

Examples:

  • Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc)

Retention Period:

Up to 90 days

5. Third-Party Cookies

We currently use the following third-party services that may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device:

Hosting & Analytics

  • Vercel: hosts our website and provides aggregated analytics. Vercel Analytics is cookieless by default, but Vercel's edge platform may set short-lived security cookies for bot mitigation and routing.
  • Google Analytics: aggregated site-usage statistics (page views, referrers, device types). Google sets _ga cookies to distinguish returning visitors.

Advertising Measurement (Pre-Launch)

  • Meta (Facebook): the Meta Pixel runs only on our marketing funnel pages (the homepage and VIP reservation pages) and may set the _fbp and _fbc cookies. When you sign up for launch updates or complete a $1 VIP reservation, we report that conversion to Meta with your email in one-way hashed form so we can measure our ads — see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy for exactly what is shared. The pixel never loads if your browser sends Do Not Track.

If we add additional services in the future (for example, a payment processor at launch or a customer support chat tool), we will update this policy to disclose them before they go live.
